Welcome July! I hope you enjoy this month's free desktop background
and all of its little characters. Hopefully they will keep you company
while you work :)
Simply click here to download it and enjoy!
On
a side note I am about to have some time off work for the next couple
of weeks so I apologize if it is a while before you hear from me again,
but I will try my best to keep up with things :)
What could be better than First Birthday Invitations? In a recent joint effort with Lucinda May Photography and Bella in Bloom,
we partnered up for a super cute First Birthday Cake Smash. This Boy's
Birthday Invitation set features a sweet but simple confetti design,
with a bright orange, blue, yellow and grey colour scheme. The main
invitation (featured directly below) is a multi-coloured explosion of
happy colours and fun patterns. The set also includes an A4 poster (inc
ribbon) as well as a matching cake topper and a Girl's Set is available
too. This design can easily be altered to accommodate a different age or
colour scheme.
Since offering Wedding Invitations I have had so
many requests for birthday invitations, baby showers and other events. I
am now in the process of setting up some beautiful designs and packages
so that I can offer this as part of my services on a permanent basis.
So keep an eye out as this will be coming soon!

Happy June everyone! This Free Desktop Wallpaper is a great way to say goodbye to last month and celebrate the
start of a new month (and a new season, in case you haven't felt how
cold it is - hello winter!).
June definitely marks a different time of
year..things start looking green again (for those of us in Australia)
and along with that bit of frost in the air comes the welcoming of
scarves, warm coffee shops and snuggling under a blanket with a movie.
Whatever June means for you I hope you will be able to enjoy it with
this desktop background and hopefully stay organized at the same time
with with its handy calendar on your screen while you work.

If you are getting married these Hand Drawn Wedding Invitations are a
must have! Inspired by my love for autumn, this charming set of
Stationery features soft pink watercolours and hand drawn elements such
as dry leaves, flowers, vines and petals. It is titled Autumn Leaves and
can be found here,
along with my other Wedding Stationery themes. They are printed on
beautiful textured card and come with matching envelopes of your choice.
White, cream, pink and brown kraft paper are just a few to choose from.
The textured paper has a beautiful look and feel, and compliments the
hand painted look perfectly! They are super pretty and make for a
memorable way to celebrate your big day!
The RSVP card features a wreath of floral and natural elements, with a
banner in the centre. On the back is an area where your guests can
write their names and easily respond to your invitation. The table
numbers have a similar floral wreath and the menus have a simply vine
featuring a rustic native flower. A round tag for your intials is also
available, and is a nice way of displaying your invitations when they
first arrive in the post.
If you would like to have your own custom Hand Drawn Wedding Invitations designed, please feel free to contact me. I would love to discuss your ideas with you and create something truly unique and special.
Get ready Brides! Love Cherish Adore
is coming to the Adelaide Hills this August for another stunning and
inspirational Fair! This vintage bridal fair is exactly what you need
if you’re planning a wedding or a special event. Featuring boutique,
unique and handpicked local vendors you will leave with some great ideas
for your wedding day. On the day there’ll be live acoustic
entertainment, interactive demonstrations plus heaps and heaps of ideas
and concepts to help your big day or special event become a reality. I
will also be showcasing some of my beautiful wedding stationery at the
Fair, so I’d love to see you there and have a chat about your wedding
stationery.
As a side note, did I mention that I was lucky enough to design this Winter’s poster?
This is a recent Logo Rebrand that I worked on for Peacock Lane Photography,
as they were heading in a new direction from doing just weddings to
focusing more on family, children and couples shoots as well. Amber and I
have worked together before and so it was a nice chance to work
together again :)
Although her website is still in its early days, Amber
had a good idea of what she wanted in a logo and what feel she wanted
her website to have. Her new design has quite a current feel with its
vintage elements and calligraphy script writing, and it does a good job reflecting the
personality of Peacock Lane!
Haaapppy May everyone!
As usual to celebrate the new month I am spreading some Sail and Swan love your way with a Free Wallpaper!
I hope
you like this month's watercolour flamingos! This pattern was painted
with some Autumn inspired colours, although I have to admit it is
feeling like Winter already!

Well it’s been a while since I’ve posted some updates on my recent
work. So what do I get up to at Sail and Swan headquarters then? Here is
some recent illustration work of mine that I thought you might like to
see!
This first image is an illustration for an advert that I created for Leslie Manning Events, an
event business in Washington DC and New York City. Leslie was wonderful
to work with and had plenty of vision and detail in mind for this
project which made it very enjoyable for me! I was spoilt with the
amount of colour and detail that I was able to incorporate into the
design.
This project is a bit more recent and local too! Katrina and Farley of Kitty Came Home commissioned me to make an illustration of one of their products (a fabulous travel wallet!) and it needed to stay consistent with previous illustrations they had used. This was a great project and it was nice excuse for me to use my favourite media- fine liner pens and paper!
Wow! I've been so busy lately that I haven't even had the chance to
show you some photos from That Dapper Market a couple of weeks ago!
First of all I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came
and made it a great day! It was lovely to meet all of you and thank you
for all of the feedback and comments! I had a great time meeting
everyone as well as having a chat to the other stall holders there.
Here are some snap shots from the day for you to see :)
PS - If you happened to miss out on any art prints on the day, please feel free to contact me or visit my online shop.
